Crafty Halloween Characters
I can't believe it's a year ago since I wrote a blog post on Halloween crafts! Time has certainly flown by and it's half term again soon which means it's time to start planning activities to keep the kids busy.
If you're looking for a fun craft activity to do with the kids then how about having a go at making these Halloween characters? Meet the Halloween team - Stewart the Spider, Gordon the Ghost, Pamela the Pumpkin and Brian the Bat - a fun set of spooky Halloween characters. I bought this set from clareloves.co.uk and it arrived within a couple of days of me ordering it.
The set contains templates to cut out and instructions on how to make all four characters. All you need is scissors, a ruler and glue. The set is suitable for children aged six and upwards but adult supervision is recommended for cutting the characters out. My son really enjoyed making the characters but he did need a bit of help with some of the fiddly bits.
We're going to attach some thread to our characters and used them as spooky decorations to hang up at Halloween but you could use them to decorate your Halloween party table. If you're feeling a bit more creative you could also make a spooky scene for the Halloween Team to haunt, how about a haunted house or castle made from a shoe box? You could paint it in Halloween colours and decorate the 'walls' with scary spiders and bats!
If you want to have a go at making these Halloween characters then you can buy them from clareloves.co.uk, there are all sorts of craft sets on there, I think I'll be ordering the Festive Friends set next!
