Loop Yarn knitting

I always like to have a project on the go and enjoy learning new crafts and new ways to be creative. A few years ago I discovered loop yarn knitting and I love how easy it is and how relaxing it is, I can make a complete blanket over a couple of evenings while I'm sat watching TV!
As well as blankets, I've also used loop yarn to knit scarves, cushion covers and a teddy bear storage bag to hang in my daughter's bedroom.
Loop yarn is a soft, fluffy yarn that has loops pre-sewn into it and you don't need needles to knit with it, you just use your fingers. This is perfect for me as I don't know how to knit and loop yarn is so easy to use that I taught myself how to knit with it with a bit of help from some YouTube videos.
Over time I have learned a few different stitches so I can create different looks and styles of blankets and I love that the yarn comes in a huge variety of colours too.
Autumn is the perfect time to knit yourself a cosy blanket and the best thing about making one yourself is that you can choose the colour and size to suit your style and space. Loop yarn is available in a huge variety of colours and it's also machine washable and you can put it in the tumble dryer too!
My favourite loop yarn brand is Alize Puffy Yarn and you can get it on Amazon, Ebay, Etsy and other independent retailers.
Here are a few of my favourite blankets I've made using loop yarn.
