Summer Cocktails
Following on from my recent Garden Party Accessories post, I've been searching for some cocktail recipes for our garden party. I want some recipes that are delicious but also not too difficult to make as we'll have a lot to do with all the party preparations.
Bottlegreen have lots of food and drink recipes on their website (www.bottlegreendrinks.com) including some yummy cocktails. I'll be featuring a few cocktail recipes on my blog and here are the first two. I might just have to practise them this weekend!
Garden Of Eden Cocktail
This cocktail is perfect for a sunny afternoon, with zesty lime, zingy mint, aromatic gin and delicious elderflower cordial.Ingredients
50ml Gordon's gin10ml Bottlegreen Elderflower Cordial
10ml lime juice
6 torn mint leaves
60ml cloudy apple juice
Glass: highball
Method
- Put all the ingredients with some ice into a cocktail shaker.- Strain into an ice-filled highball glass
- Garnish with apple skin and a mint sprig (see picture above)
Polo Cartier Cocktail
The fizzing bubbles and sweet apple and plum deliver a fruity twist on a Champagne cocktail - wonderfully decadent!
Ingredients
25ml apple vodka15ml Bottlegreen Cox Apple & Plum Cordial
Champagne
Glass: flute
Method
- Three quarter fill a flute with Champagne- Shake the first two ingredients with ice
- Strain into the Champagne
